MTR Homantin station is not located in Homantin.

The newly built Homantin MTR station is located in a place called Lo Lung Hang. It is ironic to know that Hong Kong government does not obtain a standard in regulating the name of places in Hong Kong and public organizations such as MTR can name a station by considering other factors, for example, economic incentive by hijacking a more attractive place name (considering "Homantin" as a traditionally grand residential areas in Hong Kong vs. Lo Lung Hang or sub-Hunghom) rather than stating a proper location name. 

It is a shining fact that the station is not located in Homantin (walking to the central part of Homantin from station takes approximately 15 - 20 minutes), but many choose not to see (even the MTR staff).

港鐵何文田站在地理上並不是處於何文田。

新建的何文田站著實是位於名為「老龍坑」這個地方。諷刺的是香港政府並沒有一套為地方命名的準則；而公營機構如港鐵則可以因如經濟誘因而騎劫了一些比較吸引的地名（相對於「老龍坑」或「紅磡副站」，「何文田」為傳統上的豪宅區）而忽略了正名的重要性。

何文田站並非位於何文田是一個很明顯的事實（由何文田站步行至何文田需大概十五至二十分鐘），然而很多人都選擇不去看這個事實（包括港鐵職員）。
